What TherapySpace is
TherapySpace (therapyspace.co) is a platform that designs, builds, hosts, and manages websites for private therapists, operated by Humble Moonshots Ltd (company number 14909510). These terms cover how the platform works, what we're each responsible for, and what to expect.
For therapists
What we provide
- Website design and build (one-time, based on your chosen plan)
- Hosting, backups, and uptime monitoring
- Privacy-friendly analytics
- Custom domain support
- Managed content updates (depending on your subscription plan)
Your content
You own the text, images, and copy you provide for your website. We need your permission to host, display, and back it up on your behalf — and by using TherapySpace, you're giving us that permission.
Our designs
TherapySpace owns the templates, design system, and code that power your website. There is one exception: if you purchase an Exclusive build, the bespoke design we create for you belongs to you.
Premier templates join the TherapySpace library after launch, meaning the template design may be used for other sites (your content remains yours and won't be shared). This is stated on our pricing page.
Payments
All payments are handled through Stripe. Pricing is as advertised on our website at the time of purchase. We currently offer one-time build fees and ongoing subscription plans.
Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle, so you'll continue to have access until then.
If you'd prefer to cancel immediately and take your site offline straight away, let us know and we'll action that.
There are no partial refunds, but we reserve the right to offer refunds as a goodwill gesture.
What happens when you leave
When your subscription ends:
- Your site is taken offline
- We provide you with an export of your site data (JSON) and assets (images)
- You can use this export to reinstate your site with TherapySpace in the future, or take it to another provider
Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate, truthful content for your website
- Make sure your content complies with UK law and your professional standards
- Maintain your professional registrations and insurance as appropriate
- Don't use the platform for anything illegal or misleading
Acceptable use
TherapySpace is for legitimate therapy and counselling practices. We reserve the right to remove sites that contain harmful, illegal, or misleading content.
For site visitors
This is not medical advice
Therapist websites hosted on TherapySpace are informational. They describe a therapist's practice, approach, and services. They are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
No therapeutic relationship
Browsing a therapist's website does not create a client-therapist relationship. That only begins when you and the therapist have both agreed to work together.
Content accuracy
The content on each therapist's website is provided by the therapist. TherapySpace hosts the site but does not verify clinical claims, qualifications, or registration status. If something looks wrong, contact the therapist directly.
For everyone
Intellectual property
- TherapySpace owns the platform, brand, templates (except Exclusive designs), design system, and code
- Therapists own the content they provide and any Exclusive bespoke designs created for them
- Please don't copy, reproduce, or redistribute content from TherapySpace or any site we host without permission from the respective owner
External links
Sites hosted on TherapySpace may link to other websites. We're not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page and the "last updated" date will change. For material changes, we'll notify therapists by email.
